Project Life

I am super excited to start doing a Project Life folder. My sister (http://daydreamingfoodie.com) introduced me to it! She sent me a picture of her first page on whats app, and I instantly knew that I had to do this too! So last night I spent a lot of money buying all these awesome things to do this project life! I am now going to be eagerly awaiting the postman everyday for the next week to get all of my bits for it, then I can get started!

Basically its a thing where you can put pictures, quotes, anything at all that you can think of! I’m going to use mine for a bit o everything and to just keep memories in it, be it quotes, photos, flyers or anything at all!

I thought it would be a lovely thing to do, not only for myself but for my kids too, Whenever they are older they will be able to look through it and see all of the fun things that we did whenever they were little. I think that I am going to do a double page spread for ever month.. but knowing me it will probably end up being a double page for each week!

I got myself this pretty little pink 12″x12″ album, I am super excited for it to arrive, but knowing my luck all the other little bits will come first! Unfortunately I couldn’t order it all of the same website otherwise I would have and then I would know I could get started as soon as it arrives, though I suppose it is good it is all coming from different websites as it means that I can get new bits everyday in the post and enjoy the prettiness day by day rather than all at once!

I have ordered rather a lot of the little cards, because… well I just couldn’t help myself once i had seen all the beautiful options!! who could!

At this rate I’m going to need my own little study to put all my paper cutting things in and all this project life stuff that I have flying its way towards me in the post!

I’m really exited to be able to share my project life with you all whenever I have got it all and have made a little start! Do any of you do/have done a project life thing? I would love to see them if you have! Inspiration is always fab! Also what things would you guys recommend to make mine extra pretty or just things that you guys enjoyed using/putting in yours?

  1. I think you should put any and every thing that has god memories attached to it as well as World events. There is no better way to teach our children about history!! I have had a “Life” hope chest for years. In it are newspapers, articles from Magazine and of course, letters to My children. Just a suggestion. Also, My two oldest girls (16, 19) and My youngest son (12), We decided to do “project/goal” boards. They are similar to what you are doing, the only difference is that these boards are for the next Year.. so whatever it is they are striving for, looking to master or complete.. great quotes to keep them motivated and any crafts or “to do/make” projects are on it as well. Ill post pictures soon. I am looking forward to watching yours grow! πŸ™‚
