Pepper Plants

A few weeks ago Amellia and I decided to try our hand at growing our own little vegetables. We went out to the garden centre with my mum and picked up an adorable little Elho starter kit, picked out some seeds and headed home to get planting!
The next morning when Dylan was enjoying his breakfast we got stuck in! She loved filling it up with the soil using her little spade and then getting her hands messy spreading it out!

She then had a lot of fun planting the seeds! She dotted them about randomly and thought it was great pushing them into the soil! She couldn’t quite understand why they hadn’t grown overnight though and wasn’t too pleased about having to wait!
Once they had started to grow you would have thought it was Christmas! She was so excited and couldn’t get over how cute they all were! She also had to give them a little reassuring tap when they broke through the soil!

We have given four to my mum so that she can look after them and have her own peppers when they get big enough and next time we see my sister I am going to take some down to her too! But we will still have an awful lot of pepper plants if they all make it! Thankfully my hubby and I really like peppers!
If you live close by and fancy one let me know as we have lots to spare!

Do you grow own veg at home?
