I am a 20 something year old mum to two wonderful children and a pretty great hubby!

My little girl is very outgoing, loves to be outdoors, running about, chatting, eating whatever is in sight and she genuinely just loves life!

My little boy is the cutest little chap there is, but we are going through a pretty tough time with him at the moment. He is waiting to be seen by the Autism team to get his official diagnosis though we have already been told it is severe autism they just can't rubber stamp the page till he is three!

My blog name was inspired by one our favorite movies Lilo & Stitch. I adore this quote from the movie and thought it suited my wee family perfectly! =]

“Ohana means family, family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten.

I hope you enjoy my blog!

  1. Aww.Blessings on your journey. My story is much too long to write it all here, but, let’s just say I relate in many ways. I’m cranking out portions at a time over on my blog. Come on back and read some more if you are so inclined. Off to explore more of yours…:)

  2. Blessings on you as you are on your parenting journey. We got married early (I was 20, my wife was 21) but our first didn’t arrive until a few days before my 22nd birthday. From my current perspective, I’m glad we had our children while we were young and still had the energy to keep up with them!

  3. Hi there, thanks for liking my post over on my blog. I was kinda surprised to see anyone had seen it. Where did it show up for you as I’ve not linked anyone to it or advertised it at all?

Thanks for liking, hope your little girl is all better now.

  6. Hi I just want to say what a great blog and wish you well on your journey. I have a beautiful nephew and niece who have been diagnosed with Autism both unique and special but very different so I understand your struggle in explaining that this affects each child/person differently and how wrong people’s assumptions can be. I love being involved in my niece’s sensory play as that is her main interest but its also hard to cater for as she continues to taste and eat everything. Thanks for the inspiration to keep trying to connect with my family.

    Rebecca.
