About & Contacting!

I’m a 26 year old hoping to help spread awareness, acceptance and advice on Autism & ADHD. Many parents feel very alone when their children are first diagnosed and I understand that feeling and want to reach my hand out to anyone who feels that way.

If you are looking for honest thoughts on all that comes along with autism & ADHD you are in the right place, I share the highs and lows of day to day life. Along with Tips on how to help you get through rough times as I know that these are hard especially when you feel like you are going through them alone.
Sensory play that we have tried and either loved or hated, trips out that hopefully are successful, things that we have found to help, favourite toys, mental health and bits & pieces of everything else that comes along with family life.

If you want to collaborate, or for us to give an honest opinion on a product please do get in touch. My email is –Β  weeohana@gmail.com

You can see more of what I share over on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter & Pinterest

I hope you enjoy my blog, and please do reach out if I can help you in any way!

  1. Aww.Blessings on your journey. My story is much too long to write it all here, but, let’s just say I relate in many ways. I’m cranking out portions at a time over on my blog. Come on back and read some more if you are so inclined. Off to explore more of yours…:)

  2. Blessings on you as you are on your parenting journey. We got married early (I was 20, my wife was 21) but our first didn’t arrive until a few days before my 22nd birthday. From my current perspective, I’m glad we had our children while we were young and still had the energy to keep up with them!

  3. Hi there, thanks for liking my post over on my blog. I was kinda surprised to see anyone had seen it. Where did it show up for you as I’ve not linked anyone to it or advertised it at all?

Thanks for liking, hope your little girl is all better now.

    • It was on my WordPress reader feed thing! πŸ™‚ I see it has been changed to private.. sorry for reading it if it wasn’t for anyone’s eyes!

She is all better now thanks πŸ™‚ x

  4. I had no idea wordpress posted stuff like that for others to find, that’s great! It hasn’t been set to private at all so now I’m worried haha. Thanks!

    • Yeah! If you have it under a certain catorgery or tags and someone’s searches those tags or has a nosey in the catorgery they may be luck enough to come across your blog! πŸ™‚ maybe just me.. when I click the link to view it is says it’s a protected blog! 😦

  6. Hi I just want to say what a great blog and wish you well on your journey. I have a beautiful nephew and niece who have been diagnosed with Autism both unique and special but very different so I understand your struggle in explaining that this affects each child/person differently and how wrong people’s assumptions can be. I love being involved in my niece’s sensory play as that is her main interest but its also hard to cater for as she continues to taste and eat everything. Thanks for the inspiration to keep trying to connect with my family.

  7. I’ve been reading your blog for over an hour! Its a lovely blog and I’ve been very interested in your journey for a diagnosis for Dylan. I teach and work in Special needs for part of the week in a main stream school. I have worked with children with Autism, including a little boy with very little speech. His mum made me read George and Sam by Charlotte Moore which i found to be really great. These little boys both have Autism but were very different. I’m not sure of you would find it useful but thought Id mention it! Anyway, i look forward to reading more posts. xx
