We were up and out early this Saturday morning to ensure that we could enjoy the day as much as possible. We headed off to Castle Espie and it was wonderful. We had lots of fun exploring, puddle jumping, looking at the views, enjoying the birds and all of the things Castle Espie had to offer.
Here are a few of the pictures I captured while we were out & about.
My sister and myself took the kids out for a lovely little walk and explore around the beautiful National Trust property Castle Ward.
It was a lovely morning spending time together in a beautiful property with wonderful views.
What was your favourite thing you did this week?
Recently we visited Seaforde gardens and tropical house!
It was a lovely day out with the littlers and my brother!
Check out some of the beautiful pictures I managed to capture!
How has your week been? =]
This week we have been doing a few different things!
We popped over too see my lovely sister in her new work place- Indie Fude. It is a fantastic little shop with lots of wonderful food and treats all locally sourced! We grabbed some make your own pizzas and a few other bits for treats afterwards! Amellia really enjoyed the Aunt Sandras honeycomb and says it is the best she has ever had!
She made a heart shape pizza and couldn’t wait to tuck in! She loved it!
When we were visiting my sister we grabbed a very tasty chippy and Amellia just had to have a slushie she loves those things! I can’t get over how grown up she looks in this picture!
Another day we went for a lovely walk around Crawfordsburn country Park and had fun running about in the wild flower meadow!
Our much loved fish Pudge got a new tank as he has nearly doubled in size since we got him and is forever growing! Suitably named after the fish in Lilo & Stitch too! =D
Dylan really enjoyed wearing his sisters hat! He looked like such a cutie in it! She didn’t mind at all, this whole being off for summer thing has really helped their relationship! =D
How has your week been?
I started my week by taking Dylan to the farm that is just a five-minute drive up the road from me! Ok, I know this photo doesn’t show him with the animals.. but; look how happy he was on the giant slide!
Later on in the week we went to Mount Stewart again to visit the ducks and see how big the lovely cygnets had got! This time we took some seed so they were very happy to see us and Dylan spent a long time watching them eat! The cygnets seem to be a lot bigger now!
On Friday I was feeling pretty lonely, and had a lot running through my mind so I decided to get out my guitar and give it some much-needed love!

Some of the fun we had on Saturday in the wonderful sun!
A lovely walk along the beech in crawfordsburn!
An ice lolly to cool off after our long walk in the sun that turned her tongue, and everything else that it touched blue! And some fun funky glasses that Dylan really took a shine too!
